Loan Guarantor Personal Data

This tab allows a user to enter the personal data of a guarantor like date of birth marital status, profession etc.

How do we enter the loan Guarantor personal data?

To enter the guarantor personal data, go to Clients / Guarantors/personal data and the following screen will appear:

How do you fill guarantor personal data?

To fill in or update a client's personal data you go to Clients/ Guarantor's/Personal Data and a screen like one below shows up:

• Retrieve the Guarantor whom you wish to add personal data and then click on the Personal Data tab to enter the required data.

• Note that: All the fields under personal data except the Birth date are optional and filled only if the information is required by the regulations of your organization.

• Birth date - Enter here the Guarantor's date of birth this field usually come with a yellow colour.
• Place of birth: Enter here the birth place / origin of the guarantor e.g "Mawookota".
• Marital State: From the drop down menu choose an appropriate option that defines the marital status of the guarantor e.g. "Married or Co- habiting".
• Read and Write? From the drop down menu choose an appropriate remark that explains the Guarantor's ability to read and write the English language e.g. "Yes" to denote that He/she can read and write the English language.
• Housing Choose the appropriate option for the Guarantor's housing status e.g. Owner. It could also be a rented house.
• Speak English? From the drop down menu choose an appropriate remark that explains the Guarantor's ability to speak the English language e.g. Yes to denote the guarantor can speak English.
• Speak any other language? Choose from the drop down menu any other Language other than English that the guarantor can speak e.g. "Luganda". For these languages to appear in this field they should have been set under Support files/ Languages.
• Profession: Enter here the Guarantor's profession or occupation e.g. "Accountant"
• Employer: Enter the name / Organisation that employs the guarantors e.g. "Imperial Standards".
• Graduated from group scheme: Mark the check-box Graduated from the group scheme if the Guarantor has been earlier registered with you as a group member and now registers as an individual.
• Number of children: Enter the Number of guarantor's children e.g "2".
• Dependants: Enter the Number of family members depending on the Guarantor's income e.g "4".
• Education: Select from the drop down the appropriate option for the Guarantor's educational level e.g. "University". The education levels need to have been set under Support files/Educational levels .
• Next of kin: Enter the next of kin's information in the text boxes provided, Name, Relationship, Birth date and Address.
• Documents: Click on the "Documents" command button to register the Guarantors identification documents a window like one below will show up

• ID Documents: Select from the drop down the kind of document the guarantor is providing e.g. "Passport"
• Date of Issue: Enter the date the Document was issued to the guarantor e.g. "01/01/2010".
• Valid Until: Enter the validity / expiry date of the document presented e.g. "01/01/2020".
• ID Number: Enter the Identification number of the document presented e.g. "PO 65432".
• Issued By: Enter here the issuing authority of the ID document presented e.g. "Government of Uganda" (G.O.U).
• Priority: Enter the priority attached to the ID document e.g. "2". Document priorities are decided by the organizations.
• Click Add button to add the guarantor data, there after click "Return" to return to the main personal Data tab and Click "Save" to save your information. You can also edit the guarantor information and click "Update" or "Delete" to delete the information.
